Rules
Welcome to the official fleet guidelines for BDG Logistics, operating under the leadership of Bigdad Gaming. To maintain our high standards of virtual trucking, realism, and a mature community environment, all drivers are required to strictly adhere to the rules outlined below. Failure to follow these rules may result in warning points, temporary suspension, or permanent dismissal from the VTC. SECTION 1: IN-GAME CONDUCT & DRIVING ETIQUETTE Follow Multiplayer Rules: Drivers must follow all official rules established by the multiplayer platform (trucklinemp). Any action that results in a permanent server-wide ban from trucklinemp will lead to an immediate exit from our company. "Don't Be Silly" Policy: Reckless driving, intentional ramming, blocking roads, trolling, overtaking convoy lines dangerously, or causing general chaos is strictly forbidden. We operate as a realistic trucking company. No Cheating or Exploits: No cheating, game-breaking exploits, save-editing that alters game physics/creates troll builds, or malicious modifications are permitted within our company operations. Respect Other Road Users: Treat all players on the road with respect, regardless of whether they belong to BDG or another VTC. Do not engage with trolls or retaliate against bad drivers. Listen to Command Staff: During official company events and convoys, instructions given by Convoy Control (CC), Event Managers, or VTC Management must be followed instantly. Speed Limits: Drivers must respect traffic laws and hold a realistic speed profile. Our official fleet cruising speed caps are currently TBD (To Be Decided) and must be followed once finalized by leadership. SECTION 2: PLATFORM LOGGING & ACTIVITY TARGETS trucklinemp Native Logging: All drivers must use the integrated, in-game trucklinemp tablet to track and record jobs. No external tracking programs (like TrucksBook or VTLog) are required or monitored. Profile Accuracy: Keep your VTC profile and in-game logging system entirely up to date to ensure logs track correctly. Monthly Quota & Activity Target: To remain on the active driver roster, you must hit one of the following requirements per calendar month: Complete a minimum of 5 jobs via the trucklinemp client OR log a minimum of 4,500 km (approx. 2,800 miles) natively through the software. Leave of Absence (LOA): If you are unable to meet your monthly activity or job quota due to real-life commitments, you must submit a request to a manager in the Discord. Inactive drivers without an LOA will be swept from the roster. SECTION 3: CONVOYS & EVENTS Attendance Guidelines: Drivers should attend convoys when possible. If an event is designated as mandatory by VTC management, all active roster drivers are expected to attend unless they have an approved absence. Company Representation: Use the official BDG Logistics paint job, custom skin, and player tag during all official company events and public convoys (when provided by management). SECTION 4: VTC IDENTITY, BRANDING & CUSTOMISATION In-Game Fleet Tag: All active drivers must wear the official [BDG] player tag via the trucklinemp system configuration when hauling. Truck Customisation: While we encourage driver pride, truck customisation must remain clean and semi-realistic. Excessive flashing lights, horn spamming equipment, or mismatched builds are not allowed during company operations. SECTION 5: 1-WEEK PROBATION PERIOD Onboarding Trial: Every new recruit enters the fleet on a 1-week probation period. Evaluation Criteria: Recruiters and managers will monitor your driving habits via the trucklinemp client logs, check your compliance with basic tagging/paint rules, and evaluate your behaviour in the community. Passing/Failing: Drivers who maintain safe driving profiles, clear the required rule adjustments, and show basic activity will be promoted to the permanent Driver role. Drivers showing toxic habits, low communication, or dangerous driving will fail probation immediately. SECTION 6: DISCORD & COMMUNITY STANDARDS Zero Tolerance for Drama: We are a supportive community that highly values Professionalism, Respect, Teamwork, Reliability, and putting the Community First. Bullying, harassment, racism, toxic arguments, or disrespect toward staff or members will result in an immediate permanent ban. Positive Attitude: Maintain a positive attitude, treat fellow drivers and multiplayer road users with respect, and be willing to help other drivers when needed. Convoy Radio Protocol: When participating in voice chat during official company runs, keep the radio chatter clean and relevant. Avoid shouting, talking over Convoy Control instructions, or playing music over the microphone.
