Cookie Policy

Effective date: 26 May 2026

1. Summary

TrucklineMP uses a small number of strictly necessary cookies and does not use any optional, analytics, advertising, or tracking cookies. Because of this, we do not show a cookie consent banner: there is nothing optional to opt in or out of.

2. Cookies We Use

All of the following are strictly necessary for the service you have requested. They do not require consent under UK/EU ePrivacy rules. They are all first-party and are not used for analytics, advertising, or tracking.

  • better-auth.session_token (or __Secure-better-auth.session_token in secure contexts) — keeps you signed in.
  • queue_id — identifies your queue position while queue protection is active.
  • maintenance_bypass — used only when staff bypass is enabled during maintenance.
  • __cf_bm — set by Cloudflare to distinguish humans from bots and to protect the site from abuse. It contains no information that identifies you to us, expires within 30 minutes of inactivity, and is classified by Cloudflare as a strictly necessary security cookie.

3. Storage We Do Not Use for Tracking

We do not use localStorage, sessionStorage, or IndexedDB for analytics, advertising, fingerprinting, or any other tracking purpose. We may use them for purely functional UI state where this is obvious from the feature (for example, a saved theme preference under the key tmlp-theme).

4. Analytics Without Cookies

Our analytics service, TinyTracker, runs at analytics.trucklinemp.com on infrastructure we own. It does not set or read cookies, does not use browser storage, and does not fingerprint your device. It honors the Do Not Track (DNT: 1) and Global Privacy Control (Sec-GPC: 1) browser signals — when either is sent, no analytics request is made.

For a full description of what is collected, how it is processed, the retention period, and how to opt out by other means, see the Analytics section of our Privacy Policy.

5. Third-Party Cookies

We do not run advertisements, retargeting, or social-media trackers. We do not embed third-party widgets that set tracking cookies by default. We do not sell or share personal data for cross-context behavioral advertising.

6. Managing Cookies

You can clear or block the cookies above in your browser at any time. Clearing the session cookie will sign you out and clearing the queue or maintenance bypass cookies may break those flows. Browser guides:

Changes in This Version

  • Replaced Google Analytics with self-hosted, cookieless first-party analytics (TinyTracker). Removed the cookie consent banner because all remaining cookies are strictly necessary.
  • Removed references to optional analytics cookies, the cookie-consent localStorage key, and the Google Analytics opt-out add-on.
  • Added a section describing cookieless analytics and the DNT / Global Privacy Control opt-out.
  • Disclosed the Cloudflare __cf_bm strictly-necessary security cookie used by our edge provider to distinguish humans from bots.
