About

**Welcome to BalticPRO VTC ** Built for the Drive. Driven by Purpose.

How it started

Two friends and Euro Truck Simulator 2, pretty much since the game came out. I’ve been part of the community since early 2013. Over the years we drove for some of the bigger VTCs and learned a lot there. We also kept running into the same things we felt were missing.

So we decided to build our own. Back then it would have taken more money and time than we had, so the idea just sat there for a good four years. Now we’re finally doing it.

Buses and trucks, equally

Most VTCs are trucking companies. If you drive buses, you’re usually an afterthought, if there’s a place for you at all. Here buses get the same attention as trucks. Same tracking, same stats, same place in the company.

We’re not doing this to have one more VTC on the list, and we’re not competing with anyone. We wanted a place where you pick your own way to play. Drive a bus, drive a truck, or both. It’s your call.

What we drive

Buses:

OMSI 2 The Bus Fernbus Simulator Trucks:

Euro Truck Simulator 2 American Truck Simulator Most of our trucking happens on TrucklineMP.

What makes us different

We drive several games and keep track of all of it in one place. Our own tracker runs next to the game and logs your trips without you typing anything in. For buses that means the line you drove, the stops you served and how well you kept to the timetable. For trucks, your deliveries and distance. It all ends up in the crew portal, along with your logbook, the bus lines you’ve driven, your divisions, your rank and the leaderboard.

Where we are now

Early days. Everything is in beta, and we’re looking for people who want to help us build it. Bus drivers especially. If you know every stop on your favourite OMSI line, we want to hear from you.

Next up: our own bus routes, making the tracker and the portal work better together, and growing step by step. We’ll run regular convoys as often as we can manage.

We don’t plan to become a huge VTC. Staying moderate suits us fine.

Who can join

Anyone, from anywhere. There’s no minimum distance and no required activity. We’d like to see you on Discord now and then, but even that’s optional. We’re Lithuanian, and on Discord we talk in both English and Lithuanian.

Real life comes first. This is a hobby and it should stay that way.

If that sounds like your kind of place, come say hi on Discord.

Rules

BalticPRO VTC - Rules

These apply on our Discord, in the crew portal and in every game we drive, single-player or online.

  1. Respect people Treat members, other players and other VTCs with respect. No harassment, discrimination, bullying or toxic behaviour. If someone insults you, don’t hit back. Report it to TrucklineMP or tell management.

  2. Follow the rules of the place you’re playing On TrucklineMP that means their full rule set, including any temporary rules on event servers. The same goes for Discord and any bus multiplayer server. Nothing in our rules, and nothing we say at an event, overrides theirs.

  3. Drive properly No ramming, blocking, wrong-way driving, unsafe overtaking or racing. Wearing our tag doesn’t give you priority. Give way at junctions and roundabouts like everyone else.

  4. Our tag Only wear the BalticPRO tag while you’re a member, and take it off if you leave. Don’t wear the tag of a VTC you’re not part of. When our tag is on, people judge all of us by how you drive.

  5. Convoys and shared runs

  • Follow the organiser’s instructions.
  • Keep your distance and your place in the line. Don’t overtake inside the convoy unless told to.
  • If you lose the group, catch up within the rules. Don’t push through traffic or block anyone to get back in.
  • Leave room for other players who want to pass the convoy.
  • We don’t run convoys where TrucklineMP doesn’t allow them: Calais, Duisburg, the road between them, and the Kirkenes quarry on ProMods. The same goes for bus shared runs: follow the organiser and stick to the line.
  1. Honest trips The tracker records what the game reports. Don’t fake it. No cheats, console commands, save edits or any other trick to pad your stats. On TrucklineMP, stick to their mod rules. Single-player mods are fine as long as they don’t fake your trips.

  2. Keep private things private Don’t share private conversations, personal details or anything from our internal channels and portal without permission.

  3. No advertising Don’t advertise other communities, products or services without asking management first. Sharing your own screenshots and streams is fine.

  4. Activity No minimum distance, no mandatory events. Drive when you want. If you’ll be gone for a while, set yourself to Away in the portal so we know. It’s not required, it just helps.

  5. When rules get broken For serious or repeated problems, management can give a warning, remove roles or privileges, or remove you from the company. Each case is looked at on its own. If you think we got it wrong, talk to us.

We can’t ban anyone from TrucklineMP. If something happens there, report it through TrucklineMP.
