TrucklineMP should be fun and safe. This page gives simple guidance for younger users.

1. Age

TrucklineMP is not for children under 13. Steam itself only allows accounts for users 13 and over.

If you are under 18, use the platform with a parent or guardian's permission.

2. Keep Your Account Safe

  • Use a strong, unique password.
  • Turn on two-factor authentication in account settings.
  • Never share your password or your two-factor codes with anyone, including people who say they are staff. We will never ask for your password.
  • Log out on shared devices.
  • If a website that looks like TrucklineMP asks you to log in but the address bar does not say trucklinemp.com, do not log in.

3. Protect Personal Information

  • Do not share your real name, address, phone number, school, workplace, or private contact details on your profile, in chat, in VTC descriptions, or in support tickets.
  • Use a username you are comfortable being seen publicly.
  • Think before posting; online content can spread quickly.

4. Profile Pictures

  • The profile picture you upload is reviewed automatically before it is published to check for unsafe content (for example, sexual imagery, graphic violence, or hate imagery).
  • Do not upload pictures of yourself if you are not comfortable with them being public.
  • Do not upload pictures of other people without their permission.
  • Pictures that are blocked are reviewed by a human staff member; you can ask for re-review by emailing [email protected].

5. If Someone Makes You Uncomfortable

  • Do not engage with abusive behavior.
  • Block the user where possible.
  • Use the reports or support channels.
  • Tell a trusted adult if someone asks for private contact, real-life meetings, photos, or money.
  • If you ever feel unsafe, talk to a parent or guardian first. If you are in immediate danger, contact local emergency services.

6. Data and Privacy

When you use TrucklineMP, we store the data needed to run the service — your account and profile, sign-in records, support and community activity, and aggregate site analytics. We do not sell your data and we do not share it for advertising.

7. Account Deletion

You can request account deletion at any time through [email protected]. A parent or guardian can also submit this request for you.

8. Parents and Guardians

If a parent or guardian is helping you, they can read the Notice to Parents for more detail.

Changes in This Version

  • Added a section on profile pictures and the automated safety check.
  • Added basic anti-phishing guidance ("we will never ask for your password").
  • Replaced the analytics line to match the new cookieless analytics setup.
